Nate had Friday off and we spent the day at Deanna Rose Farmstead. The kids LOVED it! We even caught some fish. Crazy to think next time we go we will have another babe!!! EEEK!!

I decided to try and throw some Easter crafts in this week. My mom informed me of a recipe she saw for peeps play dough. So...I decided to give it a try. Boy, was it a MESS. I let them pour and mix everything and in return my house was covered in cornstarch and sticky marshmallow. Lincoln had a hard time touching it with his hands. He left half way through to go and wash his hands and take his pants off because they were messy. He was the same way when we made moon sand. He cannot stand wet, slimy, sticky stuff on him. It cracks me up. It was a fun craft and I'm glad we did it, but next time I will probably do most of the prep work sans kids....

I got the opportunity to make some shorts for the website www.psiadoreyou.com. They have some awesome daily deals and part of their profit goes towards raising awareness and helping families with childhood cancer. I'm so glad I was able to collaborate with a company that has such a great cause. My heart breaks for those children and families.
Hazel was not very excited, but I forced her to be my little model for the bloomer/shorts I made. She basically threw her flower crown off every 5 seconds.... total diva.

This boy cracks me up. His personality gets bigger everyday and he is constantly making me laugh... and go crazy! Lately, he has been calling me mom and not saying "I love you" back. My heart is breaking!! I feel like I should have at least 6-7 years before that!! He is such a stinker! I can't wait to see how he responds to having another sibling... it was a little rough when Hazel came, but I have a feeling this time he is going to rock it!
He is my little sewing partner during Hazel's nap. He cuts up all my scrap fabric so I can make "dresses for bugs." He has quite the bug obsession right now...
I never have any ideas of what to sew for boys. I feel like anything I can make I could buy for cheaper. But, I am LOVING the leggings for boys fad and I decided to make him a pair, he LOVES them and I love his skinny little legs in them!
A matching pair for baby brother, as if I wouldn't. ")

I LOVE baking with the kids. Especially when it's cold outside. Hazel and I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies while Lincoln was at school. She did all the pouring and loved it! Most of it ended up on my floor, but the cookies still turned out delicious. They were just short a cup of chocolate chips. Unfortunately, I cannot blame that on Hazel, chocolate is my weakness.
PS. I envy the people who are able to keep their kitchen clean during the cooking/baking process. I am not one of them.
PSS I feel like I never get Lincoln not the blog. He despises getting his picture taken! I'm hoping this phase of his will pass soon, he is too darn cute to not get his picture taken!
Notice half the bag of chocolate chips missing before we even added them! EEK!
Blurry picture, but I love her little flour covered hands.
