I cannot believe I finally got a happy baby! I just assumed he would cry for 6 months straight and never sleep like the first two. But, no. This guy sleeps through the night and only cries during baths. He hates baths. He has the sweetest smile and the most laid back personality. He is one chill dude.
Just a bit late on posting, but happy 4th! We had such a blast (get it, blast? Ha) spending the morning at First Fridays and the evening with family. Hazel was terrified of fireworks, and I was terrified Lincoln would come running into the house black hawk down style. But, it ended up being perfect.
We always love visiting Unity Village at the beginning of spring. It is such a great place for the kids to run around. My favorite thing about visiting Unity Village is people watching! Tons of people get pictures taken for dances, weddings etc at Unity Village. Basically, everyone there is so happy or at least pretending to be. It's lovely. I have been noticing a lot of unpleasant people lately when we are out and about and I can't understand why people just don't at least pretend to be happy. I mean, I feel like I do a decent job of being pleasant when we make it out of the house. People would not even know I spent my morning raking poop of my bathroom floor.

Hazel turned two at the end of May, but we just now made it to her two year checkup. Her charts show her too underweight and too short. But, what they do not show is her amazing personality. She has this sweet little voice and the way she speaks cracks me up. She does not reply with a yes or no. For example, if you ask her if she wants a glass of water, her response is "I do want a glass of water." I constantly have people commenting on her everywhere we go. She is VERY serious and way beyond her years. She has the most perfect timing/voice with her humor, she can deliver a line like no other. I have never seen anything like it. She is also very moody. Boy, she can throw a fit! She LOVES to annoy Lincoln and really get him upset and then start screaming and crying once he cracks. I guess that is what little sisters are for.
Height- 31 inches
Weight- 22 pounds

Here are some teasers from Sterling's newborn photoshoot by MEphotography. Hazel was a nightmare during her newborn pics, so I expected the worst! I had to come back like three times to get pics of her! Sterling ended up being a rockstar, hardly made a peep! He is such good baby! It's so crazy to have a baby that doesn't cry all the time. I just figured he would be exactly like Lincoln and Hazel and cry for 3-6 months non stop and I would want to jump off the back deck. But, I cannot get over how sweet he is and how much he looks like his daddy. Lincoln and Hazel look identical to my baby pictures, but this guy definitely looks like daddy. Nate is pretty proud that the baby who looks like him is the most chill baby we have had. :) Gah, I just want to eat him up! He stares at me with his huge eyes and I can hardly take it. I actually shouted out "Oh my gosh, he is so cute!" at the fabric store the other day. I got a few stares.
Lincoln and Hazel were another story during the photoshoot. We couldn't quite get a picture of the three of them together. Those two have the funniest relationship, I love watching them play/fight together. It's so neat to see them interact with each other and I hope they continue to have a close relationship as they grow older.
